Astronomy viewing at your very own 29 Palms Sky's the Limit! Stop by Saturday nights to view the constellations, the Milky Way and deep sky. It's chilly outside after dark so wear appropriate clothing and if you have your own binoculars or telescope you're encouraged to bring it. Movies will be shown on the North facing wall of the racquetball court in Luckie Park. The large grass soccer field will be the designated viewing area. For the 3rd year in a row the City of 29 Palms' Parks and Recreation Department is bringing this fun, interactive water obstacle course to Luckie Park Pool.
Children under 8 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Lifeguards will be on duty. Come prepared wearing appropriate swim attire. No belts, buttons or zippers. Lifejackets are allowed.

The focus of this camp is to have students develop a deep understanding of the use of color in a variety of media. The class will include practice and experimentation with color theory, examples from famous artists, and training using the tools of art for best results. By the end of the class each student will have created a portfolio of work in a variety of media and styles of art.

Children in diapers must wear a waterproof covering. Life jackets are the only approved flotation device allowed in the pool. Lifeguards are on duty at all times. Appropriate swim attire must be worn. T-shirts, denim shorts, etc., are not allowed. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. If your child does not know how to swim or is a weak swimmer, it is imperative that they are supervised by a capable adult. Please do not leave your children unattended at any time.
