Action 29 Palms – The Mural People invites you to participate in the 8th Annual ChalkFest 29!, an exciting two-day cultural arts adventure held at 29 Palms Community Services Building across from Luckie Park.
Chalk art street painters are invited to participate and to help make ChalkFest 29! a unique and memorable experience. Free refreshments are provided to artists throughout the event Saturday and Sunday November 4th & 5th. This is a free community event that features plenty of space for artists and a special area for young up-and-coming artists to display their chalk masterpieces.
ChalkFest 29! provides an art experience for all ages, raises funds for public art projects in Twentynine Palms, and supports the preservation of our 23 world acclaimed murals. An integral part of this art adventure is the in-person “alive” nature of street chalking.
All artwork must be appropriate for public viewing by all ages. No words or symbols intended as advertising may appear in your image. Only chalk pastels may be used. NO ACRYLIC PAINTS ARE PERMITTED. We encourage you to bring your own shade (umbrella or upright). Action 29 Palms reserves the right to take and use photographs for use in advertising and promotions.
Action Council for 29 Palms, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to maintain and enhance the unique heritage and environment of 29 Palms, CA.
